Educational/Professional organizations who would like to bulk-register their employees can send an inquiry through our Contact page, or send a direct email to webmaster@ksa4pt.org for assistance.  To further ease the process we have a Paper Registration form for your staff.  Print as many as you like, just don't miss the deadline.

Cathy Malchiodi is a leading international expert, syndicated writer, and educator in the fields of art therapy and art in healthcare. She is a research psychologist, a Board Certified and Licensed Professional Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and has had over 25 years of experience and education in trauma intervention and disaster relief and integrative approaches to health.


She is the founder, director and lead faculty member of the Trauma-Informed Practices and Expressive Arts Therapy Institute, dedicated to teaching trauma-informed intervention that integrates neurodevelopment, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and positive psychology. In particular, it supports the use of creative arts therapies including art therapy, music therapy and movement therapy, play therapy, integrative expressive arts therapies, and mind-body approaches for recovery and wellness in children, adults and families.


Cathy’s blog, 'Arts and Health at Psychology Today Online,' covers topics related to art therapy, expressive arts therapy, trauma, body-mind approaches, neuroscience and the arts, creativity, and integrative health practices and has a readership of over 3 million. The Schedule

Public Definition:   Play Therapy is a form of counseling (or psychotherapy) by which licensed mental health professionals use play-based models and techniques to better communicate with and help clients, especially children, achieve optimal mental health.


CEU’s will ONLY be given for time attended.  NO exceptions…sign in and sign out sheets will be available in the morning, before and after lunch, and at the end of the day.  All CEU’s will reflect the time on the sign in and sign out sheets.

Cancellation/Refund Policy


1. If a participant withdraws from the conference 30 Calendar days or more before the 1st Day of the event, the participant will receive a full refund, minus a $20 processing fee.   An email must be sent to and received by our Conference Chair, in order to receive the refund. The withdraw email request must be received prior to the stated deadline above.

2. If a participant withdraws from the Conference Event inside a 30 day window of the 1st Day of the Conference Event, the registrant will receive a partial refund (half of the original fee paid), minus a $20 processing fee.


3.  Unless otherwise stated, no other refunds or reimbursements are allowed.  No exceptions granted.  Once the Annual Conference Event begins, no other reimbursements or refunds will be warranted.


4. Individual Hotel Room rate refunds reside with the Venue or Hotel Policy, and is an individual responsibility of the attendant.  KSA4PT, it's Board Members, & Officers, are not responsible for mediating refunds with any venue for our events.


** If a paid participant needs to withdraw from the Annual Conference or speaker series; they can elect to "donate" their paid registration to students on the KSA4PT scholarship list or another professional individual.
