The mission of the Kansas Association for Play Therapy is to promote, encourage and educate others in the use of play therapy and play therapy techniques to effectively treat mental health issues in people of all ages.

Play Therapy is a form of counseling (or psychotherapy) by which licensed mental health professionals use play-based models and techniques to better communicate with and help clients, especially children, achieve optimal mental health.
Our communities know who we are becasue we are members of our communities and get involved. Our passion for people expands beyond our private or corporate practices and our lifestyles. We encourage our members to make a difference in all that they do.
Our Board Members are our Members and we work for each other to strive for new heights. We pride ourselves in serving one another to ensure we are our best, all the time.
KSAPT has maintained a membership base of over 100 members for 5 years. That loyalty is what makes us who we are why we do what we do.
